John Crampton is well known in the Golf world. His work with golfers is based on his background as a Sport Psychologist. He has worked with the Australian Institute of Sport Golf program since inception, and has consulted to the PGA, AGU, WGA, WGNSW, and NSWIS. Over the last 25 years Crampton has helped many tournament golfers both (professional and amateur) to prepare themselves to deal effectively with the pressures of competitive golf.

John Crampton is published widely in sport and is a sought after speaker and workshop presenter. He is often found "on the bag" of a young up-and-coming player starting out in tournament golf.

Crampton also has an extensive background and interest in the area of skill acquisition, and so he was asked to evaluate the SwingMaster.

"Overall, quite an impressive product with lots of hidden potential.

I am very impressed with the quality of its construction - particularly the metal shaft so that there is no "plasticky" give (a problem with similar concepts in the past - a feel that is completely different to a real club).
This product feels and reacts like a golf club, and gives the impression it will keep doing so for many years. I like the inclusion of the seal that effectively traps the water inside. The colour is attractive and the quality grip is a nice feature. Overall quite a pleasant surprise.

Whilst I was expecting another "gimmick", I am happy to say that the Swing Master relates well to the movements and feels of the golf swing, and I accept the claim that it can help to train and drill release and impact feels and concepts. I would happily recommend the product to enhance the learning of the skills involved in the golf swing, and I also am confident that with the corect drills that it can add to a players' ability to "feel-ize" a good impact action, release and follow through."
